1. Review of minutes from March meeting

2. Follow up on March 9th brownbag with Gregory Vincent
Standing room only, what a success!
3. Update from brownbag subcommittee on brownbags for spring term
Linda King's suggestion for a brownbag with Helen Stoop re: retirement changes
Brown bag subcommittee hasn't met, but possibilities for brownbags include:
Tim McMahon on morale, motivation
Helen Stoop re retirement changes
Penny Daugherty to talk about Affirmative Action
4. Discuss OAC nominations and upcoming election
Todd is taking a job at the State Department. Annie is expecting a baby in October. We need to take a new look at our succession plans.
Nominations due April 16
Election April 26 - May 7 election
Todd will send out a reminder about the nomination deadline and also warning about needing a PAC number for the election (and how to get a PAC number if needed).
Todd is working with Gwen Steigelman in Academic Affairs and Tim Ketchum at the Computing Center on coordinating the list of OAC candidates and online voting for the election.
5. Discussion with Kathy Cooks regarding OA pin ceremony in Nov. 2004
Incorporate into an Annual Meeting moved to Fall term.
Tuesday November 9, 10-12:30. This time has been reserved on Dave FrohnmayerÕs calendar.
Schedule:
10 - 11 Annual Meeting in Gumwood Room
11 - 11:30 to the Ballroom for reception/socializing
11:30 - 12:30 OA pin ceremony
HR will pay for the room, reception food, and pins. Dan Williams/OAC will cover light refreshments during the Annual Meeting portion.
6. Updating OAC website
Todd will distribute a URL for a draft of the revised site.
