The Officers of Administration Council welcomes guests from Student Life, and Title IX, to its monthly Open Meeting on Thursday, April 7, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in Chiles Hall Room 125 A&B.

Sheryl Eyster, associate dean of students, will share information on how officers of administration can identify and support students in crisis, with the help of the UO’s extensive network of resources. Darci Heroy, interim associate vice president and Title IX coordinator, will simplify how OAs interact with the laws and goals of Title IX, and provide updates on how her office functions within the university landscape (Title IX is a federal law that enforces equity in education, and includes strong provisions to resolve and prevent incidents of sexual harassment in all its forms).

UO Portland OAs will attend via videoconference, from Room 324-Bickel 3 Conference Room in the White Stag building.
