Stephen Summers

“I’ve been both a student/researcher and an instructor/administrator at the University of Oregon, and I’m interested in using that perspective to help guide the university. Working with students representing diverse abilities, identities, and backgrounds compels me to help ensure their perspectives are likewise included in our institution’s future. While teaching courses on memory, motivation, communication, and college success, I have become interested in both student psychology and the mentality of the university itself. I look forward to the opportunity to invest in the growth mindset of the campus at large.”

Suzie Stadelman

Suzie Stadelman is the Education and Prevention Outreach Coordinator in the University Counseling Center, and has been in her position for the past five and a half years. She is passionate about improving the well-being of students through mental health promotion and primary prevention. Suzie enjoys organizing events, making positive change, listening and hearing perspectives, and cultivating meaningful relationships. Suzie is an alumna of the University of Oregon and outside of work enjoys ultimate Frisbee, crib bage, and snuggling with her dog.

Zak Gosa-Lewis

Zak has been employed at the University of Oregon for just over a year. He serves as the Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life under the Dean of Students umbrella. In his time at UO, Zak has worked to begin to breakdown the various silos that are prevalent across campus in an effort to improvepartnership opportunities. Zak regularly serves across campus during Duck Days, INTRODUCKTION sessions, Duck Days scholarship dinners, and various other opportunities. He is committed to serving and representing OA’s as he is passionate about UO and the potential that our university has to attract and retain dynamic professionals.

Daniel McCarville

I arrived at the University of Oregon only recently to serve as the Senior Data Analyst for the Office for Research and Innovation. My world is about using data to provide solid advice regarding policy and strategy.

Officers of Administration are being effected by numerous risks such as the OA job family framework project, implementation of the Oregon Equal Pay Act, and more. Despite this OAs are the only unrepresented employees at UO.  I will help provide consistent communication between OAs and decision makers who touch our lives – and help them make well-informed choices about our futures.

Prior to my time with the University I was legislative staff for the Kansas Legislature. In that role I used advanced data analytics to recommend public policy options for legislators. My work was integral in the establishment of new education funding laws which significantly increased state funding for education.

Maggie Bosworth

Maggie Bosworth started with the University of Oregon and College of Education in 2015 and is currently the Executive Assistant tothe Dean. She is also an alumnus of the University with a Masters in Industrial Relations. Maggie brings numerous perspectives of the University as an alumnus, a parent of two current students (’20 and ’22) and also as a staff member – both classified (’15-’17) and now as an officer of administration. Maggie is interested in gaining a broader understanding of the university and its mission while contributing to a more active role in its governance and operations.

Nicole Cartelli

I am excited to submit my intent to run for an elected committee at the University of Oregon. As a Eugene native and alumni, Iwas very grateful for an opportunity to further my relationship with the university as a human resources professional. I would be honored to share my skills and knowledge with the greater university community, and to learn more about how our campus works together to accomplish our mission of exceptional teaching, discovery, and service. Participation as an elected member will not only inform my own work as a human resources professional, it will allow me a new and exciting opportunity to better serve an institution that has been a part of my life for such a very long time.
