You’re invited to the OA Winter Social hosted by the OA Council to celebrate the essential work you do every day.

Join us on Thursday, February 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Ford Alumni Center lobby to snack and connect with fellow OAs from across campus. This is a drop-in event—come for a few minutes or stay for the hour and a half.

The council hosts this event to say thank you, create space to socialize, and provide information and resources. No RSVP needed—just save the time and stop by if you’re able. We’d love to see you and celebrate you.

2026 Spring Symposium 
Join colleagues for this day of professional development on Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ford Alumni Ballroom (lunch will be included). This year’s symposium will focus on “Building Community” through Networking, Connection & Belonging.

Employee Engagement 
The university will administer a confidential employee engagement survey, in partnership with Gallup, from February 23 to March 9, to better understand workplace experiences and support a flourishing campus community.

Results will be shared at the unit level and used to guide meaningful action, supported by an Engagement Champions Network and a campuswide commitment to follow-through beyond the survey. Learn more about employee engagement on the HR website.

As we wrap up the calendar year, we want to say thank you. This Fall term has been especially demanding and challenging for many of us. We are grateful for the care, professionalism, and teamwork that officers of administration bring to our campus every day. Looking ahead:

Leadership Academy  
Submit your 2026–27 UO Leadership Academy application by Jan. 23. The Academy meets monthly for full-day sessions focused on building leadership skills, strengthening your UO network, and learning strategies to better lead yourself, your team, and the university.

2026 Winter Social 
Join us on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. in the Ford Alumni Center lobby to warm up, snack, and casually connect with colleagues across campus. Save the date and look for our official invite next month.

2026 Spring Symposium 
Join OA colleagues to focus on professional development, networking, and flourishing in April for our Spring Symposium. More details to come next term.
