The Officers of Administration Council launched a workplace climate survey for all OAs on October 3, 2017. The goal of the survey is to gather information about issues that are important to OAs, get guidance and direction for OA Council priorities, and to hear about what types of trainings OAs across campus need to support their success as key contributors to UO’s mission, vision, and values.

In preparing the survey questions the OA Council has consulted extensively with a wide group of stakeholders, including UO Human Resources, the Ombuds, past OAC reps, an instructional designer, and a faculty member with expertise in survey design.  You can view the questions asked in the 2017 Listening Tour – Workplace Climate survey by clicking on the link below:

The survey was open until November 3.  Now that the survey is closed, we will analyze the data to identify key trends, then schedule a series of focus group-style meetings in winter term (again, open to all OAs) for in-depth discussions on the survey findings. We will produce a final report in spring term, to be shared with OAs, UO administration, and the Board of Trustees to give all parties insight into the concerns and needs of Officers of Administration.

We are excited to launch this survey to take the pulse, so to speak, of OAs on campus, and to align OAC priorities with our constituents’ needs.
